Cherries with meatballs

for 2 persons

Ingredients :

  • 500 gr. mixed chopped
  • 1 egg
  • breadcrumbs
  • pepper, salt, minced meat herbs, parsley, chives (all to be added according to taste)
  • 1 jar of cherries
  • 2 to 3 tbsp granulated sugar (according to taste)
  • 2 tbsp imperial vanilla pudding powder

Preparation :

Prepare the minced meat : put it in a bowl or you can also put it in a food processor .

Add the egg and spices and mix well . Add breadcrumbs , just as much until you have a nice solid mass .

Make balls and put them in a baking dish. Place in a hot air oven at 160°C for 30 minutes.

For the crisps:

Take a few tablespoons of cherry juice to mix with the pudding powder. And set this aside for a moment.

Put the cherries with the juice in a bowl and put on the fire. Add sugar and let it boil. Stir well so that the sugar does not stick .

Take the vanilla mixture and add it to the warm cherries while stirring . Let it boil for a while until it is thickened.

Depending on you want a thicker sauce , you take more vanilla powder , if you want a thinner one , you take a little less.
